Author Journey

Craig Pennington is an award-winning author known for his meticulously researched historical novels, particularly his series about the Moorhead family ancestors in Scotland, Ireland, and Western Pennsylvania.

Before becoming an author, Craig worked for a salvage company searching for Spanish shipwrecks in Key West, where he met his wife Claudia. As a deckhand and diver, he participated in the search for the Atocha, a Spanish galleon that sank in 1622, uncovering bronze cannon, gold bars, silver coins, and other artifacts.

Craig's unique background and passion for history inform his storytelling, combining meticulous research with compelling narratives that bring historical events to life through the experiences of his ancestors.
